Chuppah (Dark Wood Arch)

 


Our Chuppah (shown in the first picture) get top-heavy in the sand but .... oh, it does look so lovely. The Celebration Place set out to give brides the look they wanted; the look the bride needed! Our creative team built a Dark Wood Arch designed for setup on the sand.

Fall Weddings

September to November is just he most beautiful time to have a wedding in the Panhandle area of Florida. We are SO busy and we love it! Planning a wedding here can be quite an undertaking- unless you hire a wedding professional like myself to help with all of the details! Let me do the work for you. New Chandelier

We are always looking for new and fresh rental items and here is the newest creation! We have 3 of these chandeliers for rent and we can't be more excited. The pictures don't do it justice. Imagine these hanging in a tent at the reception as your lighting. We are also doing a lot with them in our 4 post bamboo and our 4 post chuppah archways. We did a wedding/bridal shower for a sweet friend this weekend and it was beautiful! We rent all things wedding- and man is burlap and lace my favorite. We can do as little or as much as you like and we are always willing to make things to enhance the look you are going for. Attached are some photos from this shower. These decorations will also be used for a rehearsal dinner coming up in October. These items were custom made and we can make most anything! It is a great idea to have something for all of the guests to sign because as the bride, she is not going to remember half of the people that were at the shower because it is so overwhelming! I also love a box for well-wishes. There is always so much experience and love in the room at a shower, why not capture it and keep it for the bride and groom to read all through their marriage.

2 sets of chairs or 1?



 "Do I need 2 sets of chairs?"
Well, again, as a rental company I would love for you to order 2 sets but of course that only makes sense if the wedding ceremony is far from the reception (and if you need to rent seating for both). We have a lot of options for chairs. We have white resin, brown resin, white padded, white wooden, beechwood, mahogany/pecan and benches. www.thecelebrationplace.com has a lot of pictures! You have a few options there for style so once you pick those you have to decide one set or two... here are some thoughts on that. 

  1. We can provide you with 2 sets of chairs. This is great if you like one type of chair for your wedding and a different type for the reception or if your wedding and reception aren't easily connected. Also, if you don't want to pay us to move them or you don't have an audience who is capable/willing to move them. It isn't the easiest thing to do! You can hire us to set up both sets and clean up both sets. 
  2. You can get 1 set of chairs and move them. The only disadvantage to moving them is that the older guests are going to have to wait for you to get them moved and set up. If you are on the sand it takes a little longer because it is difficult to carry them in the sand. If you do this your options are pretty much:
    1. "Uncle Joe" and your cousins can move them as soon as the ceremony is over.
    2. My crew can come and move them and set them up at the reception.
As always, we are always willing to help in any way. You just need to inform the receptionist when you order so we allow the proper amount of time and man-power to make it all happen! We like to set up at least 2.5 hours before the actual event to ensure that we have time for any hiccups, traffic delays or silly things that may happen.

Chris and Whitney Leuenberger

Presenting Chris and Whitney Leuenberger .....

On October 27, 2012 Whitney McAllister married Chris Leuenberger. The wedding was amazingly beautiful and so much fun. The venue was Eden Gardens State Park. The couple said their vows in front of "the marrying tree" at Eden. The reception was down on the pavers at Eden.

I had the priviledge of being the coordinator, wedding planner and decorator for this wedding. My rental company, The Celebration Place, provided rental equipment - includng the light setup over the pavers.
